John Benton
John is the inventor of the Kyoto Cosy (a simply applied hot water insulations system) and a domestic wind and solar power tower that can be raised and lowered for servicing and can operate in heavily treed locations.
In 2007, John and Viv won the LiFE (Literature for Environment) Award for their DVD "Tilting at Treadmills", which was the first film they believe world wide on energy efficiency made in 1996/7. They also run a weekly radio program called "Live the Good Life": the sustainable living show and I produce a program for teenagers called "Your Planet Needs You", both on 3WBC 94.1 fm.
