David enjoyed a successful career in financial services markets before founding Future Energy in 2003. The company has built a strong reputation in the renewable energy industry having secured Development Approvals for two wind farms to date.

The company has a pipeline of other wind farm projects under development, and has recently become involved in the solar area.

Future Energy is also the company behind Australia's first community wind project, the Hepburn Community Wind Park and David has been one of the leaders in developing the community owned approach to renewable energy in Australia.
